ZohoBooks Integration Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up and using the ETA Connector with ZohoBooks. Follow these steps to integrate your ZohoBooks account with the ETA Connector and start submitting invoices and receipts to the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA).

Step 1: Register for a New Account

  1. Go to the ETA Connector Registration Page.
  2. Fill in the required details to create a new account.
  3. After registration, log in to your account.

Step 2: Connect ZohoBooks to ETA Connector

  1. Navigate to the ZohoBooks Integration Page.
  2. Click the "Connect to ZohoBooks" button.
  3. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection between ZohoBooks and the ETA Connector.

Step 3: Add a New ERP System

  1. After connecting ZohoBooks, go to the ETA Integrations Page.
  2. Click the "Add Accounting System" button to add a new ERP system.
  3. At the same time, open the Egyptian Tax Authority Portal and add a new ERP system to generate a Client ID and Client Secret.

Step 4: Enter ERP Details

  1. On the Add ETA Integration Page, enter the following details:
    • ERP System Name
    • ERP Client ID (generated from the ETA portal)
    • ERP Client Secret (generated from the ETA portal)
    • Tax Number
  2. Click Next and fill in the required information about your first branch.
  3. Press the Save button to complete the setup. You will be redirected to the ETA Integrations Page.

Step 5: Configure Callback Link and API Key

  1. On the ETA Integrations Page, locate the ERP system you just registered in the table.
  2. Click the three dots on the right side of the row and select Copy Accounting System Callback Link.
  3. Go back to the Egyptian Tax Authority Portal and paste the copied callback link into the corresponding field for the ERP system.
  4. Similarly, copy the Accounting System API Key from the ETA Connector and update it in the ETA portal.

Step 6: Optional Configuration for ZohoBooks

  1. For additional configuration options, visit the ZohoBooks FAQ Page.
  2. Here, you can customize settings such as:
    • Real-time submission of receipts.
    • Custom fields for ETA status.
    • Notifications from the ETA Connector.
